Rolla P. Huff

Rolla Huff

Rolla P. Huff is EarthLink's chairman and chief executive officer. Rolla is responsible for overseeing approximately 1,000 employees across the country dedicated to meeting the data, voice, and wireless needs of the Company's more than 4 million subscribers.

Rolla is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Mpower Communications, a facilities-based provider of broadband data and voice services to business customers throughout California, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Rolla held that position from late 1999, when he started with the Company, until 2006 when he successfully closed a $200 million all cash sale of Mpower to another California-based competitive local exchange provider.

Prior to Mpower, Rolla was president and chief operating officer for Frontier Communications, where he played the lead role in negotiating its $13 billion merger with Global Crossing Ltd. He joined Frontier in May of 1998 as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO).

Rolla served more than 5 years with AT&T Corporation and AT&T Wireless, where he held numerous executive positions with increasing responsibilities, including the position of president, central United States for AT&T Wireless. In that position, he was responsible for AT&T's wireless business in 15 states, encompassing approximately 1.6 million customers and representing more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

During his tenure with AT&T Wireless, Rolla also served as senior vice president and CFO from 1995 to 1997. Prior to his appointment as CFO, he was the financial vice president of AT&T's corporate mergers and acquisitions group, where he was heavily involved in the acquisition and integration of McCaw Cellular, AT&T's successful bid for $1.5 billion in PCS licenses, and the sale of AT&T's interest in LIN Broadcasting. He was a member of the LIN board before its sale by AT&T.

His background also includes serving more than 10 years with NCR Corporation where he held a variety of roles in accounting, financial planning, and operations in both the domestic and international business units.

Rolla earned a bachelors degree in management from Purdue University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Linda Beck
President, New Edge Networks
Linda Beck

Linda Beck was named president of New Edge Networks in December 2006. A veteran communications industry executive with deep operations and IT experience, Linda was previously executive vice president of operations managing EarthLink's network operations, software development, system administration, quality engineering and information technology teams, as well as the CTO and CIO functions.

Before joining EarthLink with 18 years experience in the high-tech industry, Linda was vice president of engineering for Internet service providers Netcom and MindSpring. EarthLink merged with MindSpring in 2000.

In addition to her current responsibilities, Linda is also on the board of directors of Naperville, Illinois-based telecommunications equipment maker Tellabs Inc. (Nasdaq: TLAB).

Linda has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Iowa State University and an MBA from St. Mary's College. She is based in Vancouver, Wash.

Sam DeSimone

EVP and General Counsel Sam DeSimone and his legal team are responsible for EarthLink's legal affairs, including corporate governance, SEC compliance, corporate transactions, contracts, policies, litigation, risk management, insurance and intellectual property.

Prior to joining EarthLink in 1998, Sam served as vice president of corporate development at Merix Corporation of Forest Grove, Oregon. He was previously a partner with Lane Powell Spears Lubersky of Portland and an associate attorney with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault of Boston.

Sam earned his JD from New York University School of Law in 1984 and was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Amherst College in 1981.

James G. Dole
Chief Corporate Development Officer
James Dole

As chief corporate development officer, James Dole is responsible for strategic transactions, including corporate partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to joining EarthLink, Jim was senior vice president of strategic implementation at Mpower Communications, a facilities-based provider of broadband data and voice services to business customers throughout California, Las Vegas, and Chicago. At Mpower, Jim led acquisition integration, strategy development and special projects. He successfully integrated $36 million in assets acquired from ICG Communications, producing a significant improvement in reported EBITDA, and played a key role on the team that managed the successful sale of Mpower to TelePacific in 2006.

Previously, Jim spent 15 years at Frontier Corporation and Global Crossing, moving up through the finance and corporate development departments and to serve as chief financial officer for the Business Services Division of Global Crossing and senior vice president of the company's Global Access Management function. In addition, he played a key role in Frontier Corporation's acquisition and divestiture strategy, including the sale of Frontier to Global Crossing in 1999.

Jim holds a master's degree in business administration in finance and corporate accounting from the William E. Simon School at the University of Rochester and bachelor's degrees in finance, economics and business administration. He is currently vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rochester Museum and Science Center.

Kevin M. Dotts

As EarthLink's chief financial officer, Kevin M. Dotts oversees the financial performance and growth outlook for one of the nation's largest Internet service providers with revenues of more than 1.3 billion dollars and more than 5.3 million subscribers. Dotts and his team are responsible for EarthLink's accounting, internal and external reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, audit, investor relations and procurement.

Joining EarthLink in 2000, Dotts previously served as vice president of finance and principle accounting officer. In this role, Dotts supervised the company's financial and management reporting, financial planning and analysis, and corporate purchasing.

Prior to joining EarthLink, Dotts enjoyed a 15 year career at General Electric, holding a succession of increasingly more senior finance positions. Starting in the Financial Management Program at GE Aerospace, Dotts also served on GE's corporate audit staff, in its Plastics division both domestically and internationally, at NBC and most recently as the financial leader of a $1.5 billion business unit of GE Energy.

Craig Forman

Craig Forman

Craig Forman is an executive vice president & president of EarthLink's Access and Audience Business group. In this role, Forman oversees more than $1.2 billion in annual revenue and is responsible for the Access, PeoplePC, Voice and Value-added Services businesses. He also heads such shared services as Operations, Information Technology and Customer Support. This group's mandate is to deliver best-in-class Internet access and offer engaging products and applications that are not only safe, secure and reliable, but also useful, valuable and enjoyable.

Joining EarthLink in March 2006 as executive vice president and president of EarthLink's Value Added Services group, Forman had previously been a senior executive at Yahoo Inc., where he had served since Feb. 2004 as head of that internet portal company's Media and Information businesses. In that role, Forman led Yahoo's News, Finance, Sports, Health, Weather, Education, Kids and Astrology businesses.

As a business executive and entrepreneur, Forman has taken his career to the intersection of media, technology and communications. Before joining EarthLink, Forman served for four years as CEO and co-founder of Success Television and MyPrimeTime Inc., a television production and venture-backed Internet company. Forman and his team produced two business and lifestyle PBS television series, "Great Entrepreneurs" and "Great Leaders," as well as broadband programming and an award-winning Internet site targeted at 35-54 year-old "Baby Boomers." Forman is non-executive chairman of Success Television.

Earlier, Forman served as an operating executive at Time Warner's CNN Group and Time Inc. divisions, and at The Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones. He also was a member of the management team that took early search-engine Infoseek public. As VP at CNN Financial News, Forman led the team that made CNNfn.com one of the leading financial web sites, and one of the first news sites to turn profitable. As VP-Worldwide Development at Time Inc. New Media, Forman managed the internet businesses of Fortune and Money magazines while also serving as CEO of Thrive, a healthy-living joint venture with AOL. Previously, as Infoseek's first editor and VP of Product Management, Forman helped build one of the pioneering search engines.

For 13 years prior to his joining Infoseek, Forman served as a general manager, editor, bureau chief, and foreign correspondent at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal. As director of DJ's Business Information Services International unit, Forman helped develop the Online Journal globally, and expanded the electronic-publishing division to over 50 countries. As Tokyo Bureau Chief of the Journal, Forman diversified the output of the bureau into broadcast as well as print. While based in London as the Journal's Deputy Bureau Chief, Forman was a member of the 1991 Persian Gulf War reporting team that was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.

Forman has a master's degree in law from Yale and an undergraduate degree from Princeton. He is based in EarthLink's Atlanta headquarters.

Stacie Hagan
Chief People Officer
Stacie Hagan

As EarthLink's Chief People Officer, Stacie leads the company's Human Resources Organization. Stacie's top priorities are to ensure the company has the right talent at all levels, provide leadership resources for the Executives and Board of Directors, and create engaging employee programs that attract, retain and motivate employees to deliver on EarthLink's Total Communications strategy.

Stacie joined EarthLink in 2002 and held several leadership positions within the Human Resources organization prior to her role as CPO, including the organization's first director of employee communications and change management and the vice president of total rewards strategies. Stacie's background in strategic human resources planning, including organization design and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and creating a performance culture, ensures HR alignment with company strategy to promote growth.

Prior to joining EarthLink, Stacie was co-founder and CEO of SynerChange International, Inc., a consulting firm with partner offices in Antwerp, Chicago and Helsinki serving leaders in a variety of industries by driving organization performance through the use of proprietary materials and tools. Her work included providing content expertise in executive coaching for an interactive training tool with Accenture, and team training at Motorola that reduced product development time by 50 percent. While leading SynerChange, Stacie co-authored The Chicken Conspiracy: Breaking the Cycle of Personal Stress and Organizational Mediocrity.

Stacie is a graduate of Yale University and lives in Atlanta with her husband, two children and golden retriever.

Joseph M. Wetzel
Chief Operating Officer
Joseph Wetzel

As chief operating officer, Joe Wetzel manages EarthLink's day-to-day activities. He is responsible for developing the structure and tactical goals for EarthLink's products and services across all business units.

Prior to joining EarthLink, Joe was President and Chief Operating Officer at Mpower Communications, where he managed operations for a range of voice and data services to consumer, business, retail, and wholesale customers across major U.S. markets. He joined Mpower in 2000 and left in 2006 after the successful merger with Telepacific Corp.

Prior to his work at Mpower, Joe led the corporate engineering functions at MediaOne, which spun off from US West to become the third largest cable company in the country. At MediaOne, Joe spearheaded technology and product development efforts to deliver advanced voice, data, and video services over an upgraded broadband cable network. He also was involved in the business development efforts associated with building MediaOne into a diverse broadband services company that successfully merged into AT&T Corporation in 2000.

Before his work at MediaOne, Joe held a number of senior level positions within the technology and operations areas of US WEST.

Joe received his MBA and BSME from the University of Minnesota. He has also completed the Stanford Executive Program.
